Day 56 / Dzien 56.

Driving back to Yukon we understood that it was time to leave Alaska. Winter has come. It seems like trees lost all their leaves overnight. First it was just frost, then snow and ice. It's a bit scary, as we're driving winding, icy roads through mountain ranges, without chains or at least winter tires.

Going through Canadian customs was easier this time, they didn't search the car. But it wasn't without a thrill - we encountered a man, who sent chills running down my back. It wasn't what he looked like, it was the way he acted and the vibe he had about him. A vibe of a psychotic killer with a trunk full of body parts. He kept enquiring about where we were going (we lied) and so when stopping for the night, we made sure we were invisible from the road. I hope our paths don't cross again.
