Day 9 / Dzien 9.

We used our time at the state park to the fullest.
Charging all appliances? check
Two showers? check
Work-out? check
Swimming in a lake? check
And we left just as everybody was showing up for the Labor Day weekend. Good timing.

It is a very strange feeling, to think that somebody could look through your belongings, touch everything, misplace some, turn on your computer, learn more about you than you would like to share? Is there anything in your house that you would feel uncomfortable sharing with a stranger?
We spent THREE HOURS at Canadian border crossing. No, there were no lines. An extensive search in the van was followed with an interrogation for which we were separated. ??? The reason for all this remains unknown but my bet is on Lee’s beard.

We stopped for the night (Stephenfield Provincial Park) after traveling just 76 miles today. The highlight of our time in Canada so far was a Mennonite farm where we got young potatoes (yum) but they’ll have to wait till tomorrow though. Can’t cook with broken wings.

Wykorzystalismy do granic nasz czas w parku stanowym.
Zaladowanie baterii wszelkich? tak

Dwa prysznice? tak

Gimnastyka? tez
Plywanie w jeziorze? owszem

Odjechalismy akurat kiedy wszyscy zjezdzali sie na dlugi weekend. W sama pore.

  1. Gosia/Lee,
I didn't know you all were taking this trip! It looks/sounds/reads amazing. I know a great couple who are grad students studying agriculture who, I'm sure, could share some amazing organic and locally grown produce/meals with you all if you make your way toward Madisson at any time...although it looks like that leg might have passed already.

  2. Hmmm, I wonder if Lee's military history came up on their computers.
