Do they not realize that to be truly ninja you must speak '-chan' after every other noun??

The first half of 2015 was sponsored by tossing around in doubt, cutting it close, and the letter W, as in work work work. Is the adult life supposed to be this stressful and exhausting? Does anybody know? I might opt out after all.

But there were some euphoric wins as well:

Lee ended his affair with Boston University with honors. Like the forever student he is, he immediately enrolled into the next school and now he's studying French.

- I was promoted and now I lead a large team and the company is growing like crazy. I constantly regret not introducing myself as Margo, Margot or a Megan of sorts, because (outside my trained company) 'Gosia' is usually completely undoable and I typically get: 'What? Say again? Tricia?'

- Lee's dad qualified for an experimental therapy and became patient zero testing a new drug that seems to work!

- After years of immigration pilgrimages, dealing with bureaucratic idiocy and bitching, I finally became a Yankee! Maybe one day, when the bad taste is out of my mouth, I'll tell you more about the process. The ceremony moved even such a cynic as myself, too bad that it wasn't until the very end that I discovered that my camera's light meter pooped out on me.

- We baptized my new passport with a quick trip to Canada (and what made us almost choke on our dinner? I'll tell you soon!).

- Ja awansowałam i zarządzam sporym zespołem, a firma rośnie w szaleńczym tempie.
