What we've been up to in SC / W co się wpakowaliśmy w Południowej Karolinie

We've been back for over two months now. I can't believe it's been this long! We've been truly enjoying all the things we didn't have on our trip: a bed, regular showers, a real kitchen (an oven!) and an option of hanging out in two separate rooms (if we feel like it).
I wasn't sure what to do with this blog, after all it was meant to document our travels and we are not traveling right now. I went back to my abandoned personal blog for a while. But I've missed sharing with you.
And so here's a little update. More to come.

A więc małe uaktualnienie. Więcej wkrótce.

Lee started to cook more. Mainly Indian food. And he's not capable of cooking without drinking.
Lee zaczął więcej gotować. Głównie potrawy indyjskie. A gotować Lee bez drinków nie potrafi.

Lee took naps in unexpected spots.
Lee drzemał w nieoczekiwanych miejscach.

We practiced eco gift wrapping aka 'now, open the pot!'.
Praktykowaliśmy ekologiczne opakowanie prezentów, czyli 'zajrzyj do garnka!'.

For his 29th birthday Lee got his dream torte: three potato layers.
Na 29. urodziny Lee dostał tort swoich marzeń: trzy warstwy ziemniaczane.

The long-awaited new computer finally arrived.
Dotarł do nas długo wyczekiwany nowy komputer.

We dog-set handsome Cooper for a month.
Przez miesiąc zajmowaliśmy się przystojnym Cooperem.

We rediscovered a nearby lake. It's only a walk away.
Przypomnieliśmy sobie, że jezioro jest tylko o spacer od domu.

  3. Donnie: Thanks! I’m still playing with it.
My personal blog in like a diary. It’s set to private. Trust me, you wouldn’t want to be reading it anyway.

Kristin: Stokey WAS on a leash. I know, putting her on it felt very inappropriate. But we were being paranoid. Several weeks earlier she was attacked by a pitbull and almost didn’t make it. You should come visit! It’s been way too long!
